Where it is included in the approved program design, either SET Academy pathway can prepare you for the OMG SysML Model User certification exam — the industry-recognized SysML credential issued by the Object Management Group.
Two-Year Concentration
Across five courses you build the full SysML skill set the exam measures, with time to practice model reading before you sit for it.
Accelerated Certificate
Where exam access is part of the approved program design, a 16-week accelerated certificate can schedule the exam concurrently with the course — you finish and sit for it in the same window.
How the Courses Prepare You
Where included in the approved program design, students may receive preparation for the OMG SysML Model User certification exam and an opportunity to sit for that independent industry certification. Completion of SET Academy does not guarantee a passing exam score.
Certificate vs. Certification
The delivering institution may award academic credit or a certificate of completion under its own policies. That is not the same as an IDEA-issued professional certification.
Students leave SET Academy with a portfolio of real modeling work — capstone projects aligned to active exploration programs, not textbook exercises.
